2 weeks until departure!

Alright...this is getting too close for comfort! Only 13 days till departure and the weight of it all is starting to sink in. I just got back from Samaritan Purse's headquarters in Boone, N.C. The training for the next year of my service was...extensive and intense to say the least. I came away with a new respect for what S.P. does around the world and (yet another) confirmation that this is exactally where the Lord has me. At dinner my first night away, I had a tugging to open the Word. John 20:19-21 is where he brought me!!! ALRIGHT LORD, fill me to the brim and send me out!!! I'm gonna miss every(some)body so much...conflicting emotions

Find Your Wings
It's only for a moment your ours to hold, the plans that heaven has for you will all too soon unfold, so many different prayers we'll pray for all that you might do but most of all we'll want to know you're walking in the Truth...
We pray that God would fill your heart with dreams and faith gives you the courage to dare to do great things. We're here for you whatever this life brings so let our love give you roots and help you find your wings...It's not living if you don't reach for the sky, we'll have tears as you take off but we'll cheer as you fly....

We love you son, we feel so blessed. Dad & Mom

Our prayers go with you ....
Father, we lift up Joey and this opportunity in his life ... give him courage, wisdom and discernment; protect him and keep him safe ... anoint his life and may he be pleasing in your sight.

WOW!!! How incredible it was of GOD to allow me to bump into you at Saturday night's service seeing how I've been going to Plantation these past several months. How good God is and HE has certainly grown you up in leaps and bounds as a man with a true heart of Humility smothered by His Grace and Mercy for others. From the first time we served together in Mississippi and you being fresh out of college, I hoped God would do great things for you, to you and through you. And like your parents, I must say how tremendously proud and honored I am to say I know you and love you like my own. I must tearfully confess there is a part of my heart that envy's. It's not of evil but of a righteous and yearning desire that I were going with you to serve. How God has truly blessed your surrendered life and I pray HE will continue to do so each day as you serve His purpose in this life of obedience which you have committed yourself to. I look forward to your postings. Be blessed with HIS Peace.
Warm regards, much love and great respect.
Franke.

Joey... how i love and miss you my young faithful brother...ohhhh what tears you bring to my eyes and what life you bring to the scriptures as I read about and think of you.
PS 42:1 As the deer pants for the water brooks,So pants my soul for You, O God.
2 My soul thirsts for God, for the living God. When shall I come and appear before God?

I take great joy in calling you friend. May God bless and comfort you with the richness of His presence.
